How to Play 21 Duel Blackjack
21 Duel Blackjack is played with six decks of cards and it all starts with the ante bet. After this one is made, players are dealt one face-up and one face-down card, and the dealer – two face-down cards. Then, two face-up cards are dealt in the middle on the table. These are the community cards that both the player and the dealer will use in their hands. After this deal, players can choose whether to fold or continue playing. Folding means your bet is forfeited and the game is over. If you choose to go on, you will have to make a second bet equal to the ante bet.
- Features communal cards
- Fold option available
- No double, split and re-split
- No insurance offered
After the second bet, you will have to choose one from the community cards to complete your hand. Then you can stand – in which case your face-down card will be discarded, or hit and have the face-down card added to your hand. If your hand exceeds 21, it’s a bust. Keep in mind that you can’t hit multiple times, split, or double down. Once you have your face-down card opened, you have completed your hand. Then, the dealer will choose a community card – they may select the same card that you’ve already added to your hand, and hit only once if they have 16 or lower, or stand on 17. If the dealer has 13 or more, the two hands are compared and if you have a higher hand, you will win both bets and vice versa – if you have the lower hand, you will lose both your bets. Bets will be a push if the hands are tied. If dealer’s hand is lower than 13, it’s considered that they haven’t qualified and you will automatically win even money on your ante bet, regardless of their hand total.
21 Duel Blackjack Is a Fun Way to Diversify Your Gaming
21 Duel Blackjack has multiple features and rules that make it all the more exciting. In addition to the ante and second bets, there is a side bet you can make called 2 Up. It’s placed on the player’s face-up card and the two community cards. This side bet pays out 3:1 if these cards have a pair between them, and 20:1 for a three-of-a-kind. With all of these features, you can certainly enjoy an exciting and rewarding gameplay, albeit with not exactly the highest RTP like some of the games you can see below. And as with any other Playtech game, you will also enjoy responsive design and polished look.
There are many reasons to try 21 Duel Blackjack – it’s certainly gives a fun twist to the standard rules of Blackjack and it’s a very entertaining way for you to diversify your game catalogue. The game is optimised for mobile so you can open it in the browser of your mobile device and enjoy the same top-quality graphics, sleek design, and smooth gameplay. You can find it at a Playtech casino such as Ladbrokes where newly registered players can benefit from a nice welcome bonus and many post-registration treats.
